RAYASTA FOUNDATION BRINGS PHYSICAL THERAPY TO STROKE SUFFERERS THROUGH INNOVATIVE TUTORIAL VIDEO
Roseau, DOMINICA-The RayAsta Foundation is proud to announce its latest effort in helping stroke sufferers recover. With a tutorial video featuring Brian Edmunds, a Physical Therapist with 37 years of experience working with stroke victims, the foundation seeks to bring physical therapy into the homes of those who are unable to access it due to financial constraints, transportation issues, lack of information, physical limitations, psychological factors, and other reasons.
According to Monelle Alexis, RayAsta Foundation’s PR Campaign Coordinator, “The RayAsta Foundation understands that numerous stroke sufferers cannot access the physical therapy they need for recovery. So, we opted to bring a physical therapist into their homes via mobile device.” The 30-minute video gives comprehensive instructions on how to position, transfer, sit, and walk an individual who has suffered a stroke, and it also includes exercises for the individual.
The footage is practical and easy to follow so that understanding is ensured and it’s accessible. Alexis states: “The video provides clear instructions on how best to manage and position someone after suffering from a stroke or any other debilitating condition that requires physical therapy. The video is accessible on RayAsta Foundation’s website, www.rayastafoundation.org, Facebook page RayAsta Foundation or via this link: [Insert link]. The foundation intends to share the footage with healthcare service professionals around the island and the media to maximize content exposure.”
The RayAsta Foundation believes everyone should have access to quality healthcare services regardless of their financial situation or location. The tutorial video is one more step towards achieving this goal and providing those in need with the help they deserve.
